CELLTHERM Produces First Sustainability Report Based on EU Standards

For the first time, and on a voluntary basis, CELLTHERM has produced a sustainability report in accordance with EU guidelines – the so-called VSME-Report – designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition to environmental and social criteria, the report also covers guidelines for good corporate governance.

As a company whose core product is the prevention of energy loss, sustainability has never been merely a trend for us; it has been a fundamental part of our daily operations since our inception. Insulation represents resource conservation in its purest form. Yet, while we spent decades perfecting the thermal efficiency of our systems, much of our other work took place quietly: treating our teams with respect, maintaining long-standing (and often regional) partnerships, and consciously using durable materials.

Until now, we have often acted on environmental and social responsibility intuitively and out of personal conviction. With this first sustainability report based on the VSME standard, we are now building a new bridge: translating our established values ​​into a transparent, measurable structure.

Our goal is not to reinvent CELLTHERM. Instead, we want to demonstrate the substance behind our actions. The report reveals where we stand today—honestly, pragmatically, and without embellishment.

Taking a deep dive into our own processes – and, crucially, our supply chain – has yielded valuable insights. We have learned to view sustainability not merely as a product feature, but as a comprehensive management task. An analysis of our risks and opportunities clearly shows where we are already leading the way and which areas require more precise adjustments in the coming years.

For us, this report is not a conclusion, but a status assessment. It serves as the foundation upon which we will build our processes for the years ahead. In doing so, we ensure that sustainable and socially responsible practices remain firmly embedded in our company and continue to evolve.
